Overview: CATSINaM has devised a Framework and an associated 2-day training workshop to assist health service staff to implement the NSQHSS within a cultural safety lens. Our framework aims to provide the basis for offering practical, achievable guidelines for meeting the new standards as well as promoting and improving cultural safety at all levels of health service decision making and service delivery. For each standard, we have considered ways of knowing, being and doing to promote cultural safety and building partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities being a strong focus in this Framework.
