Our Policies

As Board members, we believe that practices involving the Funds fundraising, marketing or promotional activities should uphold the global principles of health promotion as defined through the Ottawa Charter (WHO 1986).

These principles are designed to:

  •  Build healthy public policy
  •  Create supportive environments
  •  Strengthen community actions
  •  Develop personal skills
  •  Reorient health services

Furthermore, these activities should also not contravene the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes (WHO, 1981).

The Rhodanthe Lipsett Indigenous Midwifery Charitable fund supports the position statements of the Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives.
